Infill for artificial grass is a special sand or rubber crumbs spread over the turf. It keeps grass blades upright and adds extra weight to hold it in place. You obviously don't need an infill for patios, roof-tops, balconies, interior applications or small decorative projects. When you install turf on top of the soil, infill is the best way you ensure your project will survive strong winds, severe weather, and high traffic.
